In today’s world the options for artificial intelligence (AI) are virtually endless. A few options to choose from are Siri and Alexa, however, the latest and greatest is Josh AI. Josh AI is one of the new voice controlled home automation systems available to any home owner. Josh Core connects directly to the local network to offer a more stable home automation environment. There are outputs available on the Core Hub that allow an installer to connect to any professionally installed speakers in your home. By connecting your speakers to Josh, you will be able to tell Josh to play music in specific rooms of your home.
Josh Nano is the FIRST Architectural microphone that blends into home decor and it is location aware. The nano is physically the size of a poker chip which allows it to causally blend into its surroundings. The homeowner must choose which rooms he would like Josh to control and then an individual nano is installed in each of the rooms. Each nano can set a different mood in various locations, the mood does not have to be the same throughout the home. The Nano is always ready for commands and stays alert listening for a homeowner to say those special command words “Hey Josh….”
In today’s age, privacy is extremely important, especially when your AI device is always listening. Josh is able to offer homeowners a sense of security because personal information is never shared or sold, you are not being recorded, and you also have options to disable listening.
For instance, you are having an intimate, private dinner party where you would like all conversations to remain private, the only step to take to ensure privacy is to enable the privacy switch during the event. Privacy switches may be turned on/off at any time, just remember, if Josh doesn’t respond to your command you may have forgotten to turn listening back on. Josh Nano offers homeowners hands free control in every room (if wanted), connection to your home audio system, and blends into decor. By pairing Nano and Core together, Josh can be more hidden and less visually prominent.
The Josh Micro device was designed purposely for luxury environments. While it is larger that the nano, it still offers a sleek design that may be mounted on the wall like the nano or more importantly it may stand alone on a piece of furniture. Micro is flexible and its location can be changed at any time, unlike Nano. It is available in both wired or wireless options and it has responsive touch to adjust lights, shades, and music. Josh Micro is the easiest way to begin your AI journey because it is the only part that you need. The downsides are the size and bulkiness of the unit and it may not be visually appealing in all decor.
