Starting today, Spotify is now available for gamers with a new app for the Sony PS3 and PS4 and they’re calling it “Spotify on PlayStation Music”. This popular music streaming service is free with ads, or just $10 a month for premium account. The neatest thing about Spotify on PS3 or PS4 is it supports background listening. Meaning you can play a game while listening to your favorite Spotify tunes at the same time!

The other big music streaming news of the week is that Tidal, owned by Jay-Z, has fully launched on SONOS Wireless Music Streaming services (following its initial beta release back in December).
With 25 million tracks, the service costs twice as much as Spotify Premium at $20 a month but offers 16-bit/44.1kHz FLAC and ALAC. It rivals Deezer Elite which costs only $10 with the same quality audio.
