In December of last year, Sonos rolled out their 7.0 Software update which allowed users to play music from Spotify straight to Sonos. The update also included Trueplay tuning for PLAYBARs to fulfill true home theater audio. Sonos also gave the PLAYBAR a little software update by adjusting the EQ for richer, even toned audio and to achieve crisper dialogue.
If you’re a die hard Spotify fan with a Sonos System, or have a PLAYBAR, the update is pretty impressive. If you haven’t completed the update yet, you’ll want todo that before February 28th, 2017. If not, controlling Sonos with Spotify will not be available any longer.
