The Manor

Project Summary

The Manor is an incredible estate which features 19 4K video zones, 20 distributed audio zones, 3 dedicated surround sound systems, 12 outdoor cameras, 87 Lutron lighting zones and an impressive gigabit 5Ghz seamless WIFI system. The Manor is a fully integrated estate featuring the most user friendly and reliable systems.

The great room features a 75” 4K Sony television paired with a Leon Horizon custom soundbar and in-ceiling speakers. This system, and the other televisions in the home are a part of the 19 distributed 4K video matrix that shares a combination of a Hargray cable box and 4K Apple TV. This gives the clients unlimited streaming options for the best home theater for unlimited streaming options. This system is easy to control with an ELAN HR30 remote or and is fully compatible with IOS and Android.

There are two offices in The Manor. They both feature 4K televisions, in-ceiling speakers as well as Lutron drapery.

Outdoor entertainment is important in the Low Country and the southern porch is the perfect place to be all year round. AIC installed two Sunbrite televisions and added in-ceiling speakers. Full pool and spa integration make it easy for the clients to enjoy the poolside without worrying about maintenance.

The master bedroom, bathroom, closet and porch are decked out with in-ceiling speakers, a 65” television, and lutron blinds.

The kitchen features a television with overhead in-ceiling speakers and 2 KEF Q150 bookshelf speakers. There are also in-ceiling speakers in the wet bar and dining area.

Every room in the Manor is carefully designed to include distributed audio and video as well as Lutron lighting. This makes it easy for the clients to enjoy their home entertainment and adds a luxurious feel to the residence.

The Manor’s Project Scope

The Manor is a monumental state-of-the-art integrated estate. This estate covers a main house as well as a carriage house. AIC’s goal was to create a flawless connected home that could easily be monitored and controlled. AIC utilized ELAN control systems with their HR30 remotes for easy control.

The most important feature of a connected home is a seamless networking system. AIC utilized the Ruckus Gigabit Networking System with full 5GHz AC WIFI coverage. This coverage includes not only the main house, but also outdoor living areas and the carriage house.

The Manor has three dedicated television sound systems. The great room, the sitting room and the game room are all dedicated to providing the full theater audio experience. Throughout the residence there are 20 distributed audio zones, this also includes outdoor audio. The client can listen to their favorite music or podcasts easily throughout the estate, with the Autonomics eSeries Music Streamer. The Manor has an impressive and extensive in-ceiling speaker system throughout the residence, a must have for any music lover. A custom FirePit Audio landscape speaker system provides reliable and superior audio outside the residence.

Lighting has been made simple by creating 87 Lutron lighting zones to create the perfect ambiance throughout the residence. With these lighting zones the clients will have full control over their lighting solutions with ease. Lighting presets make it easy for the client to turn on and off multiple lights with just one push of a button.

The Manor features 12 outdoor cameras for full security and monitoring. These cameras are on the perimeter of the property and by the gate system.

Fulfillment of Customer Needs on The Manor

The client requested for AIC to create video and audio zones as well as security and seamless WIFI for the entire estate, indoors and out.

The client also wanted the best in entertainment. With that in mind AIC installed Sony Master Series televisions throughout the house, including an impressive 75” in the great room. A Leon Horizon custom designed soundbar is mounted under the television and produces high quality theater sound with a paired JL audio Sub. AIC installed in-ceiling speakers throughout the residence and Autonomics eSeries Music Streamer for high quality audio. Outside sits two Sunbrite TVs for reliable outdoor entertainment.

AIC installed a 4K video matrix system for the televisions in the home that shares a combination of their cable box and Apple TVs for almost unlimited streaming options.

For security AIC used ELAN outdoor cameras with IR and an ELAN video doorbell. This allows the client to keep a watch over their property and to be alerted when there is activity outside. When using ELAN the clients are guaranteed a safe and reliable system that keeps their home network and the technology on it private from outside sources.

The customer wanted a reliable and easy to use control system so AIC utilized ELAN control systems. The client can access controls from their HR30 remotes and ELAN also offers Android and IOS compatibility.

To ensure that the client does not have any technical issues they cannot handle we installed a Panamax Bluebolt system that allows AIC to maintain regular scheduled updates as well as monitoring their systems. AIC can monitor any loss and restoration of power and internet connectivity and verify that all systems are running.
