We are excited to announce that AIC has won a CePro Mark of Excellence Award in the category of Multi room Audio and Video Project of the Year! This is A.I.Cs third Mark of Excellence award in the past two years and is absolutely one of my favorite projects. Our design team could not have done this without the help of  some of the best architects, home builders, and products in the industry.

We knew from the beginning that the owner’s had high expectations so we really had to open up our imaginations on ways to conceal the rock solid electronics while not intruding on the contemporary style of the home.  The homeowners emphasized that they wanted a modern, sleek, and sophisticated home with the absence of any clutter. With the house embracing five and a half acres of property and over 6,000 square foot of living space, the team had to communicate effectively and efficiently on every single aspect in order for this project to be successful.

Before beginning, our team had to come up with the best possible solution to conceal audio and video equipment based on the home’s infrastructure, which consisted of mostly custom wood paneling and some limited drywall. Motorized TV art lifts, Leon sound bars, Stealth Acoustic invisible speakers, an Elan Automation System, and the most robust  WIFI system on the planet helped create this smart home marvel nestled along the May River.

The Enterprise Network is essentially the mothership behind the entire system. We installed Rockus Enterprise-grade gigabit networking and distributed AC 5GHz Wifi Cisco Security throughout the home and the outdoor living spaces to create a seamless WIFI system. The Rockus WIFI director allows for unparalleled uptime connections and reliability.

Motorized TV lift systems were installed in the Great Room and Master Room to completely conceal the TV’s and A/V gear for the Main entertainment rooms.

A Media Decor custom art lift was used in the Great Room to conceal a Sony 65” 4K HDR OLED TV and Leon Sound Bar with a piece of art the homeowner wanted to display. Stealth Acoustic invisible speakers and subwoofers were used to complete a fully hidden  5.1 surround system that will blow your socks off.

The Master Bedroom TV lift system was actually built into the window and wall casing allowing the TV to tuck behind a provided piece of furniture. The TV is paired with overhead Stealth Acoustic Invisible speakers for a deep and rich TV and music experience.

The outdoor area needed to be just as impressive as the rest of the house. With this in mind, we paired a 55” 4K Sunbrite TV with 2 in-ceiling speakers that were stained to match the outdoor paneling. We finalized the outdoor design with custom outdoor landscape speakers and subwoofers that not only sound amazing but also match the exterior lighting fixtures.

We were delighted with the final end result of the project and are forever grateful for such an amazing opportunity to go above and beyond our expertise. We’d like to thank our clients, design team and AIC team for being so cooperative and collaborative throughout the whole process.
